Frisco drivers face delays from Dallas North Tollway construction

Lane closures are affecting traffic in Frisco this week due to the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) widening project. Construction includes pouring pavement and building barriers, with closures expected until March 15. Key closures include the northbound exit ramp to Panther Creek Parkway, which is closed until March 14, and continuous closures of the southbound exit ramp to SH 121. Daily lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and nightly closures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project aims to add a fourth lane in each direction between the Sam Rayburn Tollway and US 380 to improve traffic flow. Completion is anticipated by late 2025.
