Frigo wins 100m freestyle in Naples Grand Prix

Manuel Frigo won the 100m freestyle at the Grand Prix City of Naples, repeating his victory from the recent Italian championships. Frigo, an Olympic bronze medalist, finished with a time of 49.34 seconds, the only swimmer under 50 seconds. Viola Scotto Di Carlo won the women's 100m freestyle, while Martina Biasoli and Daniele Del Signore won the 100m backstroke events. The swimming competition, held at the Scandone pool in Naples, also featured other notable performances and is scheduled to continue through Sunday.
