Friends and colleagues remember Congressman Doug LaMalfa of California

Congressman Doug LaMalfa, who represented California's 1st District for over a decade, has died at age 65 following a medical emergency. LaMalfa, a fourth-generation rice farmer, previously served in the California State Assembly and State Senate before his election to Congress in 2012. Colleagues remembered his dedication to his district, his mentorship, and his passion for NASCAR and country music. He is survived by his wife, four children, and a grandchild.
