French goalie tackled referee in Latvia game

A French goalie caused a bizarre collision during a World Championship game, knocking down the referee and a Latvian player. The incident occurred in a match between France and Latvia at the Globen arena. The French goalie, Quentin Papillon, left his net to stop a breakaway, but instead crashed into the referee from behind, who then collided with a Latvian player. Both the referee and the Latvian player were able to continue playing. Latvia ultimately won the game 4-1 after trailing 1-0. Both France and Latvia are in the same group as Sweden in the tournament.
