Fraport Greece airports handled 7.1 million passengers in August 2026

Fraport Greece reported 7.1 million passengers traveled through its 14 regional Greek airports in August 2026, a 5.1% increase compared to August 2025. International traffic rose 5%, driven by strong performance at Corfu, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Chania, Kefalonia, Mykonos, and Skiathos. Middle East traffic grew 20.6% despite geopolitical tensions, though load factors fell to 86.9% due to increased seat capacity. Domestic passengers totaled 968,000 (up 5.7%), while international passengers reached 6.2 million (up 5.0%). Since the concession began, Fraport Greece airports have served approximately 280 million passengers.
