Taiwan's Foxconn expects its server revenue to exceed revenue from iPhones in the next two years, according to a report by Taiwan's Central News Agency. Foxconn is the largest contract electronics maker in the world and also produces Apple's iPhones. Foxconn Chairman Young Liu shared this expectation at Nvidia’s annual developer conference on Tuesday. He stated that it could happen even sooner, possibly within this year. The company manufactures several of Nvidia’s advanced artificial intelligence servers. Liu confirmed that while Foxconn does not produce all of Nvidia's systems, it makes the majority of them. In a recent earnings call, Liu projected that AI server revenue could reach T$1 trillion, or about $30.29 billion, this year, making up over half of the company's total server revenue. He also noted that revenue from cloud and networking products is growing fast, driven by demand for AI servers. In 2024, 30% of Foxconn’s revenue came from these products, while 46% came from smart consumer electronics, like iPhones.
