Fox Chapel runners vie for relay team spots
Fox Chapel track and field athletes are competing in "Last Chance" meets to secure spots on relay teams and qualify for the WPIAL championships. These meets offer a final opportunity for athletes to improve their times and earn a place. Coach Tom Moul highlights the team's depth, particularly in the 3,200-meter relay, where several runners are vying for positions on both the boys' and girls' teams. The girls' 400 relay team also aims to improve its seed time. Claire Conti has already qualified for WPIALs in discus and shot put, while other athletes are aiming to qualify in various events. The team is focused on achieving peak performance as the championship approaches.
