Fourteen people contract food poisoning at Nileshwaram temple festival

Fourteen people, including children, have contracted food poisoning in Nileshwaram. They were admitted to the local hospital with symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting. The affected individuals attended a festival at the P alayi Vallikkunnummal Padarkulangara Bhagavathi Temple. They reported consuming lunch at the temple and ice cream from the premises. Health officials are investigating the incident, with initial suspicions pointing to the ice cream as the source of the contamination. Approximately 4,000 people were served food during the festival.
