Four Greek banks donate 100 million euros for school upgrades across Greece

Four major Greek banks are donating another 100 million euros to upgrade school infrastructure. This is part of a larger initiative to improve educational facilities nationwide. The donation, signed on Thursday, will fund renovations for an additional 238 schools. These upgraded schools are expected to be ready for students by September 2026. This second phase of the "Marietta Giannakou" program brings the banks' total contribution to 200 million euros, with a commitment for up to 400 million euros overall.
