Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 launches December 1 with new Japanese theme and classic mode

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, titled "Oni Hunters," will launch on December 1, 2024, following a live event featuring major artists. This new chapter introduces a Japanese theme, with a new map called Oninoshima and gameplay centered around samurai and Oni legends. The Battle Pass will include Japanese-themed characters, such as Godzilla and Baymax, along with new weapons like katanas. Players can expect special items, including Oni Masks that grant unique abilities, and a variety of new locations on the map. Additionally, Fortnite will introduce an "OG Chapter 1" mode, bringing back classic gameplay and mechanics, including the popular Double Pump meta. This mode will feature its own Battle Pass, allowing players to experience the original Fortnite gameplay.
