Fortnite announces launch of OG mode featuring classic island and gameplay on December 6

Fortnite is launching a new game mode called Fortnite OG on December 6, 2024. This mode will feature the original Chapter 1 island and iconic locations like Retail Row and Tilted Towers, along with the classic graphics and gameplay mechanics. The OG mode will support both Builds and Zero Build players, but will revert to older movement styles and disable Turbo Building. Each month will introduce a new season, allowing players to experience all ten seasons from Chapter 1 over ten months. A special OG Battle Pass will be available, allowing players to earn XP across all modes. Classic weapons and items, including the Double Pump and OG Burst Assault Rifle, will return, aiming to recreate the nostalgia of the original Fortnite experience.
