Former HSE manager pleads guilty to child pornography charges in Ireland
A former HSE manager from Ballinrobe, Peter O'Malley, has pleaded guilty to ten charges related to child pornography at Castlebar Circuit Court. The charges include possession and distribution of child pornography and causing a child to watch sexual activity. O'Malley, 46, was identified by the FBI for his role as an administrator on the Kik platform, where he facilitated the sharing of explicit material. He was arrested after a search of his home revealed a large number of pornographic images, including child pornography. He has been remanded in custody until his sentencing on November 25. O'Malley has no previous convictions and worked as an orthotist before his arrest.
