Forest Fair Mall site in Ohio may become new corporate headquarters for Hillman Solutions

The long-vacant Forest Fair Mall in Forest Park, Ohio, may be transformed into a corporate headquarters for Hillman Solutions Corp. under a new $95 million development proposal. The Butler County Land Bank approved using state grant funds for demolition costs. Hillwood Development plans a 638,000-square-foot building with parking for 615 cars, plus space for future expansion. The company aims to close the property purchase by May 2024 and complete demolition by March 2026. Hillman Solutions, a major hardware distributor, relocated its headquarters to Forest Park in 2023 and seeks to consolidate operations. The new plan has received support from local officials, despite not directly impacting a portion of the site in Fairfield.
