Ford launches its own Tesla Supercharger adapter for electric vehicle customers

Ford is now offering its own adapter for Tesla Superchargers, allowing its electric vehicle customers to access Tesla's charging network. This new adapter will be available alongside the existing Tesla-produced version. The adapters are being made by Lectron, which previously recalled its own adapters due to a design flaw. Lectron's CEO confirmed that the issue has been resolved. Ford has faced delays in receiving enough adapters from Tesla for its customers. Some Ford customers have experienced slow charging with earlier adapters and have been advised to stop using them while waiting for replacements.
