Food Process Engineering Limited was fined £50,000 after a worker died in a warehouse fall. Steven Tervit, 32, was killed when wall panels collapsed, striking his scissor lift and throwing him four metres to the floor. The company failed to adequately assess and manage risks during dismantling. The incident occurred in November 2022. HSE investigations highlighted a lack of planning and awareness of dangers, with no necessary structural supports in place.
