Florida teacher arrested for sexual crime in Delaware

A first-grade teacher in Orlando, Christopher Crisona, was arrested on a warrant from Delaware for second-degree unlawful sexual contact. The details of the allegations remain unclear. Crisona, 57, was taken into custody at Andover Elementary School and is being held without bond. Orange County Public Schools stated his arrest is unrelated to school matters, and he will not return during the investigation. Crisona has been with the district since 2008 and previously taught in New York, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida but has not worked there since Fall 2022.
