Floods in Malaysia and southern Thailand kill over 30 and displace tens of thousands

Severe floods in Malaysia and southern Thailand have killed over 30 people and displaced tens of thousands. Both countries are preparing shelters and evacuation plans as more heavy rain is expected. In Malaysia, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reported that recent rainfall equaled six months' worth, causing significant damage in Kelantan and Terengganu.
