Flags will fly at half-staff across Colorado on Wednesday to honor Golden Police Officer Evan Dunn, who was killed in a crash while responding to another accident. Governor Jared Polis ordered the tribute for the day of Dunn's memorial service. The service will be private and not open to the public. However, the community is invited to line the streets to show support as Dunn's body is transported to the venue. West County Line Road will be closed for the procession. Dunn, 33, was struck by a suspected drunk driver, Stephen Geer, during the incident. Three others were injured, including Officer Bethany Grusing, Dunn's training officer.
