Five Maine East alumni honored on school's Wall of Honor
Five alumni from Maine East High School were inducted into the school's "Wall of Honor" on March 6, marking the first new additions in over a decade. The honorees include James Bjorken, Jami Gertz, Larry Kramer, Josephine Lee, and Roz Varon. Roz Varon, a former ABC7 traffic reporter, shared her memories of the school during the ceremony. Larry Kramer, now president of The London School of Economics, expressed pride in his Maine East roots despite living in various cities worldwide. The new inductees are recognized for their significant contributions in fields such as science, entertainment, and philanthropy. The Wall of Honor also includes notable figures like Hillary Rodham Clinton.
