Five airlines form codeshare agreements despite different alliances
Five airlines have established codeshare agreements despite not being in the same airline alliance. These partnerships allow passengers to book flights across different carriers while simplifying travel logistics. Qatar Airways, a member of Oneworld, collaborates with Air Canada, a Star Alliance member, to enhance connectivity in Canada. Malaysia Airlines has codeshare agreements with both XiamenAir and Turkish Airlines, expanding its reach beyond its Oneworld partners. Air France, part of SkyTeam, has a unique partnership with Oneworld member Finnair, while Singapore Airlines, a Star Alliance member, codeshares with Alaska Airlines, also in Oneworld. These arrangements provide passengers with more travel options.
