First complainant testifies in Alan Jones indecent assault trial

In week one of Alan Jones's indecent assault trial, the first complainant testified he was sexually touched and given money and gifts by the 85-year-old former broadcaster. Complainant J said Jones met him as a high school student, bought him a car and phone, and paid him up to $600 weekly. He detailed alleged assaults in 2003–2004. Defence suggested fabrication and financial motive; he denied this. Jones faces 20 indecent assault and two sexual touching counts spanning to 2020. The trial continues with more than 70 witnesses expected.
