The blaze, which involved rubbish near a settlement, had temporarily halted Proastiakos railway traffic between Aspropyrgos and Ano Liosia. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Train services were restored late Tuesday evening after the fire was contained. Passengers were initially transported by bus during the disruption.
