Fire Service seeks 137 forest firefighters in Greece

The Fire Service has announced a competition to recruit 137 forest operations firefighters. Applications will be accepted starting today. The recruitment is for a two-year term, with 127 positions for technical staff and 10 for scientific personnel. Applicants must be under 28 years old, with exceptions for those with forestry degrees or prior seasonal firefighting experience, who can be up to 35. Successful candidates can apply for permanent positions after their seven-year term, provided they meet specific performance criteria. Applications will be accepted from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
