Fire ignites near Lourdes castle after Bastille Day fireworks

An accidental fire broke out near the Lourdes castle after Bastille Day fireworks, but firefighters quickly extinguished it. The blaze ignited on the castle's lower slopes, spreading to the area just below without damaging the historic structure. Firefighters were deployed to the steep terrain and worked through the night to contain the flames. Similar incidents occurred in Belfort, where dry grass on castle walls caught fire after fireworks, also without casualties or damage.
