Finnish films dominate cinema box office

Four Finnish films are currently the most watched at cinemas in Finland, a rare occurrence. This weekend, "Sisu 2" led ticket sales with over 28,600 viewers, followed by "Kyllä isä osaa Lapissa," "Cancel," and the children's film "Ella ja kaverit: Operaatio Saukko." This level of domestic film dominance at the top of the box office has not been seen since February 1999, excluding the distorted statistics from the COVID-19 pandemic years.
