Finance Ministry considers changes to long-term savings program for pensioners

Russia's Finance Ministry is considering changes to the long-term savings program, specifically regarding the withdrawal of co-financing. These potential adjustments primarily affect pensioners and pre-retirees, who currently have more flexible withdrawal conditions. The goal is to prevent the immediate withdrawal of co-financing after just one year. The long-term savings program, launched in early 2024, allows for state co-financing up to 36,000 rubles annually for individuals earning up to 80,000 rubles. In the third quarter of 2025, nearly 18 billion rubles were withdrawn from the program.
