Filinvest Development Corp. is expanding its operations in Clark, Pampanga, by opening a new hotel and mall. The company's senior vice president, Francis Gotianun, stated that the growth in Clark is fueled by many businesses wanting to set up in the area. Gotianun highlighted the region's strong infrastructure, which includes accessible airports, roads, and utilities. He noted that the area is attracting key manufacturing companies because of effective governance. For the upcoming projects, Filinvest plans to build the Crimson Clark Hotel, set to open by 2028. This five-star hotel will feature 326 rooms, each averaging 43 square meters. Additionally, a new mall covering 21,000 square feet is expected to open in late 2025. Clark is part of the 201-hectare Filinvest Mimosa Estate, which includes the Mimosa Plus Golf Course and residential villas. Recently, Filinvest introduced night golf at the course to enhance its offerings. Besides Clark, Filinvest is also investing in other growing areas in the Philippines. Chroma Hospitality Inc., a subsidiary of FDC, will open a new hotel in Baguio City later this year. This hotel, Grafik Pine House, will have 256 rooms.
