Fender launches limited-edition Player II Advanced guitars in UK
Fender has updated its Player II line of electric guitars with a special limited edition called the Player II Advanced. This new version is aimed at rock and metal musicians. Both models, the Stratocaster and Telecaster, now feature high-end specifications not typically found in earlier versions. The upgrades include Seymour Duncan humbuckers, which improve sound quality. The Strat model also offers a hardtail bridge, which is popular among modern players. Both guitars have ebony fingerboards and a 12-inch fingerboard radius for better playability. The Stratocaster features an oversized 1970s-style headstock and includes a JB TB-4 humbucker combined with two single-coil pickups. The Telecaster is equipped with similar high-quality pickups and a hardtail bridge as well. These guitars are currently only available in the UK through retailers Andertons and GuitarGuitar. Different color options are available at each store. The price for both models is set at £949, which is about $1,230. It remains unclear if they will be sold in the United States, but there is expected to be strong demand for these models.
