Federal Chancellery files criminal complaint over suspected electoral fraud

The Federal Chancellery has filed a criminal complaint over suspected electoral fraud involving approximately 9,500 signatures for five federal initiatives. The complaint, filed against unknown individuals, alleges potential falsification of signatures, most of which were already deemed invalid by municipalities. The Chancellery has increased measures to ensure signature integrity. This follows similar complaints filed in previous years. The Chancellery is also developing a code of conduct and exploring technical solutions to prevent future abuses.
