EF3 tornado hits Sulphur, Oklahoma, causing death and injuries

A devastating EF3 tornado hit Sulphur, Oklahoma, a town of 5,000 people, after 10 pm on a Saturday night, leaving four dead and 300 injured. Among the injured was Austin Thompson, who suffered a broken neck, fractured nose, and chin cut requiring thirty staples. The tornado was one of twenty-two in Oklahoma over the weekend, causing widespread destruction. Governor Stitt declared a state of emergency in 12 counties.
