FDA warns against unregistered beauty soaps from vlogger Rosmar Tan in the Philippines

The Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned the public against using beauty soaps from vlogger Rosmar Tan's brand, Rosmar Skin Essentials. The soaps, including "Premium Niacinamide Soap" and "Mysterious Madre de Cacao Soap," lack proper registration and certification. Tan-Pamulaklakin stated that the FDA has repeatedly rejected their applications for product notifications, despite compliance efforts. The FDA has previously issued advisories against other unauthorized products from her brand since 2023. The FDA is taking steps to prevent the sale of these unregistered products and encourages the public to report any violations. Tan-Pamulaklakin, who has a significant online following, is also running for councilor in the upcoming May 2025 elections.
