A court in Fatehabad has sentenced Ashok to four years of rigorous imprisonment and a Rs 40,000 fine in a heroin trafficking case from 2018. The conviction stems from the seizure of 85 grams of heroin. Additional district and sessions judge Hemant Yadav delivered the verdict. District attorney Devender Mittal said police intercepted Ashok on Feb 18, 2018, near the Mini Bypass on Bypass-Bhuna Road after he quickened his pace upon seeing them. The heroin was found in his right pocket. The case took eight years to conclude. The sentence was handed down on Friday, September 18, 2026.
