Family of boxer Jack Ayres seeks answers after death
The body of 22-year-old boxer Jack Ayres was found in a body of water in Somerset on March 3. He was last seen walking near Sharpham Drove early that morning. A post-mortem examination indicated drowning as the preliminary cause of death. Jack's family is seeking public assistance to understand the circumstances leading to his death. Police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage and asking motorists for dashcam footage from that night. They noted no signs of physical injuries, suggesting non-suspicious circumstances. Jack was a member of Avalon boxing club since age 11 and was remembered fondly by his clubs. His death coincided with the search for another missing person, 21-year-old Sebastian Sailes, who was last seen on February 27.
