Fairfield agent defrauded South Asians, receives nine years

A Fairfield travel agent, Iqbal Singh Randhawa, was sentenced to nine years in prison for defrauding members of the South Asian community. He stole over $147,000. Randhawa, also known as Paul, was convicted of 11 counts of grand theft and two counts of violating travel laws. He took money for airline tickets but provided fraudulent itineraries, and also committed credit card fraud.
