Explosion at Tehran Industrial Park Injures 18, Damages Emergency Base

An explosion at the Shamsabad Industrial Park near Tehran injured at least 18 people on Tuesday, with four hospitalized, and damaged an emergency services base without harming personnel. The blast originated from an internal tank in the park's aluminium manufacturing section, according to Davoud Vali, a board member. Emergency spokesperson Shervin Tabrizi confirmed no staff were hurt as they were responding to another call. No fatalities have been reported, and authorities are investigating the cause. The park has experienced explosions during past regional conflicts, though officials have not linked this incident to recent security developments.
