Experts at a conference in Lucknow emphasized the importance of diet in the recovery of ICU patients. The event, held at Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, gathered around 150 dietitians and medical professionals. Prof C M Singh highlighted the vital role of dietitians in patient recovery. He noted their expertise in nutrition significantly aids the healing process. Prof Afzal Azim stressed that proper nutritional assessments are essential for ICU patients. He warned that malnutrition can hinder recovery and increase the risk of mortality.
