Expanded FIFA Club World Cup to be held in Pasadena
The FIFA Club World Cup will expand to 32 teams and take place in the U.S. this June. The tournament will run from June 14 to June 25, with six group-stage matches at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Teams like Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, and Atletico Madrid will compete. The opening match features PSG against Atletico Madrid on June 15. Other matches include CF Monterrey versus Inter Milan and River Plate against Monterrey. FIFA aims to showcase top clubs globally, with a $1 billion prize fund announced. The tournament was initially planned for China before the pandemic delayed it.
