Exodus developers compare in-game faction to Star Wars Jedi Council

A new sci-fi RPG called Exodus is in development by former Bioware leads, James Ohlen and Chad Robertson. The game will feature actor Matthew McConaughey in his first video game role. In a recent Q&A, the developers revealed that the game's faction, The Travelers, draws inspiration from Star Wars' Jedi. However, they clarified that The Travelers are more independent and rogue than a traditional Jedi council. Exodus was first announced at The Game Awards in 2023. The game follows humanity's struggle for survival in a hostile galaxy after fleeing a dying Earth.
