Ex-soldiers ran six half marathons for charity

Two former soldiers completed six half marathons in six days, raising £7,500 for charity. The funds will support the Royal British Legion and a physiotherapy clinic. Alan Crowdy and Mark Miller ran the races, pushing their friend Andy Williams in a wheelchair, who was injured in a car crash. The team covered 126.6km (78.6mi) in under a week. The fundraiser honored Williams, who receives treatment at the Morrello clinic. The runners were overwhelmed by the support at the final finish line in Colerne.
