Ex-bureaucrat Ashish Joshi questioned for 9 hours over posts on Amit Shah

Former bureaucrat Ashish Joshi was detained by Delhi Police for nine hours of questioning, with most queries focused on his August 12 social media post about the Home Minister and Home Secretary. Joshi told The Indian Express that police were particularly interested in the source of his information, which he refused to disclose, calling it "unethical and intellectually dishonest." He was also asked about his August 26 post referencing electoral roll revisions in West Bengal and a "Nuremberg-style trial." The questioning stemmed from a police summons related to Joshi's posts, though he was picked up near his home on Wednesday and released that evening. Delhi Police did not respond to requests for comment on the matter.
