Evanston firm selected for $76.3 million redevelopment of Haeger Potteries site in East Dundee

The East Dundee Village Board has selected Brinshore Development from Evanston to redevelop the former Haeger Potteries site. The $76.3 million project will create 136 residential units, including apartments and townhomes. Brinshore plans to demolish most of the existing factory buildings, preserving a three-story loft for apartments and an industrial building for community amenities. The development will feature green spaces, sustainable elements, and a Haeger Preservation Plaza. The project will include a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with some designated as affordable housing. Construction is expected to begin in January 2027, following negotiations and public input on the redevelopment plan.
