Eurostar to resume high-speed train service between Amsterdam and London in February 2024

Eurostar will resume its high-speed train service between Amsterdam and London in February 2024, after a suspension due to renovations at Amsterdam Central Station. The service was halted in June 2023, affecting customs checks for passengers. The reopening will feature a larger departure area, allowing for increased capacity. Initially, 450 passengers can board in Amsterdam, nearly doubling the previous limit of 250. This number is expected to rise to 650 by spring 2024. The renovations aim to improve the travel experience, as Eurostar transported 4.2 million passengers across its routes in 2023. The first train is scheduled to depart on February 10, slightly later than initially planned.
