EU region enables Windows 11 debloating

Windows 11 users can now uninstall Microsoft Edge and customize search engines by changing their device's setup region to an EU country. This is due to the EU's Digital Markets Act. This change is achieved by using Microsoft's built-in System Preparation Tool (sysprep) to re-trigger the initial setup process. Users can then select an EU region during setup, allowing for greater customization without data loss. While this method offers significant improvements, some pre-installed apps and features may still require manual removal.
