Estonia's Frankenburg Technologies to test new drone counter missile in Ukraine

A new miniature missile, the Mark 1, developed by Estonia's Frankenburg Technologies, will be tested in Ukraine this month. This missile is designed to counter low-flying drones, which have been increasingly used in Russian attacks. The Mark 1 can engage targets at altitudes up to 1.25 miles and is produced using precision targeting software. If the tests are successful, Ukraine may approve its further use to enhance its air defense capabilities. Frankenburg plans to produce dozens of these missiles weekly, with potential ramp-up to hundreds by late 2025. The company is also establishing a new office in the U.K. for research and development.
