ESA releases largest 3D universe simulation for Euclid mission

The European Space Agency (ESA) has released a massive 3D simulation of the universe, containing over 3.4 billion simulated galaxies. This virtual universe, created for the Euclid space mission, maps approximately 10 billion light-years around Earth and serves as a training tool for analyzing upcoming Euclid data. The simulation helps scientists prepare to study dark matter, dark energy, and test cosmological models, with the Euclid telescope launched in summer 2023.
