Eon customers in Sweden may pay too much for their electricity network connection

Eon customers in apartments may be overpaying for their electricity network connection. Many apartments only require a 16-ampere fuse, but are billed for higher capacities. The price difference between a 16A and a 20A/25A fuse can amount to hundreds of kronor annually, depending on electricity consumption. Eon recommends 16A for up to 8,000 kWh per year. Customers are urged to check their Eon bills and consider changing to a 16A fuse, which requires hiring a qualified electrician. Eon operates in many parts of Sweden.
