Enoki mushrooms recalled for Listeria contamination concerns

New Age International Inc. has recalled its Daily Veggies brand Enoki Mushrooms due to potential Listeria contamination. The recall affects all 200g packages labeled as "Product of Korea" with UPC code 8809159458890. The contamination was discovered by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture during testing on January 14. No illnesses have been reported so far, but consumers are advised to dispose of the mushrooms or return them for a refund. The FDA monitors voluntary recalls and evaluates health hazards. Other recent recalls include various tuna products and coffee creamers, all classified as Class II.
