Energoatom faces NABU probe over 300 million hryvnia electricity deal with "Svitlo Grup M"

NABU is investigating Energoatom for allegedly transferring hundreds of millions of hryvnias worth of electricity to a company without full payment. The company, "Svitlo Grup M," received electricity on credit, sold it, and then transferred most of the proceeds to suspicious entities, potentially defrauding Energoatom of 222 million UAH. The investigation revealed that the company's owners include a judo federation head, a former supermarket security guard, and a bookkeeper, with ownership changing multiple times in 2025.
