'Encina de Plata' novel prize names four finalists

The finalists for the XIX 'Encina de Plata' Short Novel Prize have been announced, with the winner to be revealed on May 30th. The winning novel will receive a prize of 7,000 euros. The four shortlisted works are 'El viaje del silencio', 'Amor en la tormenta', 'Baires, con la piel tersa', and 'Adiós, Thérèse'. These were selected from over 70 submissions by a reading committee led by Pilar Galán. The jury, including prominent literary figures, will decide the winner. The award ceremony will take place during the Book Fair, solidifying the prize's importance in Spanish literature.
