Emirates to launch refurbished Boeing 777s on Dubai to Vienna route in January 2025
Emirates will begin using refurbished Boeing 777s on its Dubai to Vienna route starting January 3, 2025. This marks Vienna as the fourth European city to receive the upgraded aircraft, which feature a four-class layout and enhanced interiors. The retrofitted 777s include a premium economy cabin and a total of 328 seats, with improvements in business class inspired by the Airbus A380 design. Emirates has already introduced these aircraft on several routes, including Chicago and plans to expand to six U.S. routes in early 2025. Emirates is refurbishing 191 aircraft in total, with the rollout of the Boeing 777s starting in October 2023. The airline has been serving Austria for over 20 years, providing significant passenger and freight services between Dubai and Vienna.
